International Space Station

"Urban Heat Island" studies which resulted in
unprecedented national news coverage of a NASA remote sensing
activity including Internet transfer of audio and video files for
national news broadcast

"CAMEX" hurricane study, which required integrated
public affairs plan for multi-federal agency and multi-university
collaboration across the nation, resulting in the most coverage for
any NASA program other than a space flight. Media planning included
the hosting of a national satellite news conference carried live by
National Public Radio, CNN, and other outlets, and daily audio and
video feeds to national television networks and affiliates, national
radio coverage, as well as regional and national newspaper
reporting. Coverage of the month-long study resulted in sustained
coverage on all major networks, live interviews on CBS Radio, and a
Time magazine issue section.

Initiated Marshall Center use of web-based transfer
of video and digital images for national news broadcast.

Managed Marshall Center International and domestic
exhibit program for three years. Responsibilities included exhibit
design and on-site management at locations around the U.S., and at
exhibits in Okazaki, Japan; Milan, Italy; and Helsinki, Finland.
